Men’s Captain

Ladies Captain

Secretary

+ Organises committee meetings
+ Takes minutes/sends outcomes of meetings
+ Sends weekly email and has responsible for email account
+ Enters teams into district league
+ Arranges matches with league teams (& friendlies)
+ Produces any documentation the club requires
+ Alerts committee to university commitments

Treasurer
———

+ Takes control of the money
+ Money is involved in everything therefore so is the treasurer
+ Produces start of year budget
+ Must not make a deficit, must be shrewd, and try to make profit!
+ Collects money on club times and for events
+ Arranges payment of dues to any organisation required eg boat club, coach, hotels etc
+ Primary liase with Clubs & Socities contacts Leslie Culbert & Cathy Gallacher
+ Tries to arrange sponsership
+ Responsible for organising hoodies

+ Organises Freshers Bazaar
+ Produces posters for awareness

+ Good word of mouth advertising skills
+ Invites people to just normal nights out during the week

Intervarsity Co-ordinator

+ Comes up with plan and stategies for the intervarsity
+ delegates such strategies through committee members
+ Non-executive role

Webmaster

+ Just someone with basic HTML knowledge to update website regularlyincluding
-updating ladder and ladder results
-putting up official match reports
-updating the news reel
-moderating the forum
-updating events and other sections
-updating the hot topics and world tennis sidebar
-general maintenance and pruning.
+ Website easy to use as based on Wordpress blog system.

+ All must be committed and willing to attend regularly (in particular exec), otherwise whats the point saying yes!?
